What We Do
We focus on four interconnected areas to create sustainable positive change in the Gude community: Education, Economic Empowerment, Peace Building, and Health and Social Services.
Education Project
Supporting quality education for the youth of Gude community through comprehensive initiatives.
Establish a Scholarship Fund to support brilliant poor students to attend tertiary education.
Assist school children attending Government Basic Education Schools in rural areas by supplying textbooks and exercise books.
Partner with NEDC and UBEC in reconstruction and upgrading of school infrastructure.
Initiate and sustain school competitions, especially spelling and basic science.
Embark on sustained sensitization campaign with Women, Teachers and Community leaders to encourage children to attend schools.
Sensitization programmes on ills of substance abuse and the need to prioritize education.
Skills Acquisition & Business Start-Ups
Empowering youth and women with practical skills and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Establish a Business Start-up Fund to support small businesses in the three districts.
Develop pilot skills acquisition centers in each district focused on trading, carpentry, tailoring, food processing, plumbing, electricals, handicrafts and computer skills.
Encourage and support youths to appreciate farming - vegetables, food crops, cash crops and animal husbandry using modern techniques.
Partner with different organizations in realizing entrepreneurship development objectives.
Peace Building & Security
Fostering community harmony and security for sustainable development.
Collaborate with security agencies and peace building initiatives to enhance security in our communities.
Facilitate peace building and conflict resolution programs.
Engage youth in positive activities to reduce restiveness.
Public enlightenment on the importance of peace as the bedrock of prosperity.
Health and Social Services
Access to health services and basic needs create an enabling environment for production, growth and development in the Gude community.
Improve community access to health services through collaboration with government and donor agencies.
Engage in preventive sensitization measures on environmental context of health.
Assist communities in accessing curative medicines.
